I definitely think it’s nicer if there are pleases and thank yous from a woman in charge. A harsh tone can be adopted if there’s some behaviour that needs to be addressed, but as a guy if I was fulfilling my end of the bargain by being obedient and respectful I would appreciate being spoken too kindly.

I’m not a husband or wife, but I am a male with something of an issue with alcohol. I binge drink, largely because alcohol is a significant part of my social scene, and it’s easy to keep going once you start drinking. I need discipline and invariably when I see a professional disciplinarian it’s for a matter related to alcohol. Not necessarily anything serious, but I feel some guilt if I find I’m waking up too often with a hangover. If I did form a relationship with a lady kind enough to discipline me, spanking for excess alcohol consumption may well be part of it.

I think a second spanking is probably in order here. A hairbrush spanking is supposed to hurt and if the guy has the option of moving out of the way he’ll probably exercise it. Some simple rules if the spanking is over the knee. Hands on the floor, toes on the floor, bottom remains still.

I think you should try using the phrase and see how it goes. If it doesn’t seem to trigger a response from her, it might be time for the big box of crayons.

He can’t be made to be submissive, otherwise you would have gone through with the discipline against his wishes. That’s impossible for a female to do with a big guy who won’t submit. Between you it seems you need to work out who is in charge. That probably involves a conversation. If it’s an FLR with discipline involved he can’t have the option not to bend when you’ve told him he’s getting the cane.

FLR clearly can be very different for different people. For me it would be a faithful monogamous relationship. Just one where the woman is in charge.
