For me it is not.
But maybe you’re situation is different.
If you are all excited, trusting the lady, and you do not need the money, why not?
You will learn from it, regardless of the result.On the other hand, if you invest in a more expensive way, investing your time in a deep soulsearch without spending money, you will also get results.
So follow you’re heart and be gentle for youreself.

I wonder Dave; what are you’re happy moments? The moments you feel you’re heart swell or explode? Find out whats underneath and concentrate on that?
For me for example it is to be humble while naming my true feelings. About longing for connection in my love language, the physical/ including but not restraint to sexual. Longing for her to see and recognise my feelings and tell her about that without claiming her body or attention. Just ask while looking into her eyes. Not ever touching her without feeling consent.
And of course last but certainly not least the warmth in her eyes if i actively serve her (mostly non sexual) or do my chores.

Thank you for your tip Philip. As for most things in life: communication is key.
I started talks several times; some longings openly communicated but not all out yet.
I find her listening with an open heart but no active follow up by her.
It’s a good challenge and takes courage to take it on step by step; working towards what you call the regular “Command and control”meeting
It has to be done from naming my feelings. This is the only way to avoid implicit demands. I feel so vulnarable doing so. And feeling that vulnarable is exciting and frightening at the same time. But “The only way is up (;->)”. Also trying to incorporate a bit of self-mockery. It helps lightening things up. So time and humor are on my side (;->).Fons
